My words Shirley:Being a teacher is my passion. Watching each child like a different world is a delight. Teaching is to explore into their hearts to share a mutual learning, and the impression that is left on the child is done from heart to heart, awakening the interest of knowledge through curiosity to travel to a world full of creativity, imagination and above all, a lot of love.
Assembly
Assembly is a space of relationship to approach concepts such as: numbers, letters, the weather and sharing our songs with Alex the puppet.Good morning! One, two-one, two, three!
Hello, and how are you?
In the morning I clap my hands,
In morning I do my dance
In the morning I shout “Hurray”
This a going to be wonderful day.
Story Time
Reading creates a world of adventure to open their minds and allow them to come up with their own stories.
Yasmin text: I started as an assistant teacher here at KLA back in March and in those couple of months, I have grown to adore these children more than anything. Showing them new projects to advance their skills and seeing their faces light up when they succeed is why I do this.
Seeing students grow into their own person and apply what they have learned into their daily routine is what this is all about, but there really is nothing better than walking into the classroom and hearing, “Teacher Yasmin!” It is definitely an instant mood booster.
So I want to thank my students of 2B for being my very first class to teach and one that I will always remember. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you, my little munchkins!

Our Context
(Poner fotos de earth day, VPK mapping y alguna foto de zoologico)
Located in the suburbs of Miami, our beautiful school in West Kendall rests in the center of a commercial area of Kendall Drive. Still basically residential, our town houses beautiful parks and lush landscapes. We are close to Miami Dade College and benefit along with the many high schools in the area, of educational centers that provide our future teachers.
This area has seen significant economic growth and is in continued development for the future, bringing a wealth of new activities for residents. The interesting, diverse, and culturally rich environment allows our children to explore in a variety of ways.
