Texto para la experiencia de tiles, tempera y paper negro. All children have the right to creative expression through the arts. The creation of art cultivates critical thinking, reflection, and problem-solving skills. It also encourages systems thinking; fine motor skills, individual brushstrokes, eye-hand coordination and materials all contribute to the greater whole.
In this experience the children did tracing with the ceramic tiles, finger and hands prints, and also explored with their senses the paint.

By connecting the children with nature we make a positive impact in their lives. They learn to take care of plants, be delicate with flowers, mention colors, talk about the necessity of water in plants to grow like persons need food for the same reason.
Clay.
A child’s brain takes shape along with the clay. Such self-initiated activity can be the perfect match for the developmental needs of the child. Clay stimulates the child’s curiosity. Intelligence, imagination, and creativity are engaged and fostered.
Assembly.
It’s that moment of the day where we sing songs that promote physical exercises and sit together to talk about what happened the day before and what we are going to be working on today. It’s the moment where the children get to know each other’s names, likes, dislikes, feelings, and share about their lives. It’s also a very good opportunity to encourage them to communicate and elongate their vocabulary. This school year we’ve had so many memories together that I know none of us are going to forget. For instance, these memories include:
• Bella being the second teacher.
• Raphaela engage with letters and excited about tracing them on the board.
• Ela sitting right next to the board making almost impossible for her peers to make it there.
• Sophia, Tomas, Christos, and Isabella showing off there dancing skills.
• How Ryan and Vicente were so shy at the beginning, and after a while how excited they were when we call them for attendance.
• How Lorelei, Delilah, Damien, and D’hoom have always involved animals in our experiences whether we were talking about them or not.
• Celine making her favorite baby doll called ” Nene” participate at assembly
• Valentina, Samuel, and Nathan trying to sneak out from the circle to start playing with the connector toys placed around the area.
There are much more memories than those, but if I keep on making the list longer, I am going to have to write a book called “Memories of Mrs. Cowley’s Class”. I love each and every single one of you guys. I would like to thank you for all the fun, silliness and unforgettable memories we shared together.
